September is just about here, which means the transition from Summer to Fall is just around the corner. If you’re not quite ready for pumpkins and chai lattes yet, explore some of these awesome events happening in the area this month!

Happening at Bethlehem House Gallery

September is the last full month you have to catch our 2019 Summer Show, as we are set to host our Closing Reception on October 5th. After that, our doors will briefly close as we begin prepping for the 2019 Holiday Show. Make sure to stop in if you haven’t yet to explore these incredible works!

2019 Angel 34 Restaurant TourAngel 34 Logo

Angel 34 is taking over Downtown Bethlehem in their annual event, and we sure weren’t going to miss out! Established in 2003, Angel 34 is a local organization that serves children battling cancer in and around the Lehigh Valley. Help support their cause by taking part in their Restaurant Tour on September 8th from 11 AM – 3 PM. For $34, you will have the opportunity to try food and drinks from a variety of participating locations, including us! You can grab your tickets here.

Fig Bethlehem Fall 2019 Launch Party

Fig Bethlehem is set to release the Fall edition of their magazine, and the launch party will be hosted at the Gallery! Join us as we kick off the season and celebrate this new issue filled with all things fall. The event will be held on September 10th and runs from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.

Evening for the Charter Arts

We are thrilled to have Arturo Cabrera and Jessica Bastidas, graduates of the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, in on September 14th from 6 PM – 9 PM to help raise money for the school. Mingle with these featured artists and other attendees while roaming around the gallery and listening to live music performed by Charter students. 10% of every sale made during the event will be donated to the school in support of the arts! 6th Annual Apple DaysApple Days at the Burnside Plantation

The Burnside Plantation invites all to partake in celebrating one of the most popular fruits in the world; the apple! The 6th Annual Apple Days event takes place from September 7th – 8th from 10 AM – 4 PM. This event is chock-full of family-fun activities and food such as apple bobbing, cider press demonstrations, live music, and more.

Women’s Weekend – Downtown Bethlehem – We Get Women

Looking for a ladies’ weekend getaway? Take advantage of this Women’s Weekend, hosted by Heart of Bethlehem, from September 13th – 15th. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and shop at a variety of participating locations in Downtown Bethlehem. Tickets are only $20 and give you access to exclusive offers around the area, awesome swag, and Downtown Dollars for participants to use during the event.

PierogiFest Presented by The Clubhouse Grille

Engage your taste buds in a variety of delectable, filled dumplings during PierogiFest, taking place at SteelStacks on September 14th from 12 PM – 6 PM. Look forward to trying a selection of these potato-stuffed delicacies that include things such as brisket, cheeses, and even apple filling. Buy your tickets as soon as you can, as they are only $15 now, and $20 the day of the event.

Celtic Classic Festival

Celtic Classic Festival

The Cetlic Festival returns for its 32nd annual event and runs from September 27th – 29th. This popular celebration presented by the Celtic Cultural Alliance aims to preserve and promote the unique Celtic heritage through various events and demonstrations. There is something for everyone, whether it be the Highland Athletic Championships, Invitational Pipe Band Competition, or event the Haggis Competition. Admission is free, with food, drinks, and diverse merchandise available for purchase everywhere you go.
